While based in Detroit, Michigan, I provide still and motion work for editorial and advertising clients all over the world focusing on portraits, food & drink, industrial and accompanying lifestyle imagery.

With studio and on location experience, I specialize in creating photo and video content for agencies, as well as corporate and editorial clients. My work focuses on the people, the processes and the product that define a company's brand, mission and vision. I love to tell stories about the work of makers, CEO’s, entrepreneurs, and other inspiring figures who are reshaping our surroundings.

My curiosity about the ways in which people connect with and relate to one another, particularly centered around food & drink, led to a commissioned project for Quarto Publishing, U.S.A. that had me traveling throughout China, from Shanghai to Xinjiang, to take a variety of portraits, landscapes and lifestyle photographs, all while documenting the spring tea harvest for a book on tea culture titled "The Art and Craft of Tea." Since its publication "The Art and Craft of Tea" has been translated into four languages.

As a Self-Shooting Producer / Director, I was awarded a Regional Emmy for the short documentary "A Wife Called Phoenicia," a film that follows Sameer Eid who has been running the Lebanese restaurant Phoenicia in metro Detroit for 47 years. Eid is a hands-on, old-school owner - a dying breed of restauranteur.

Some of my advertising clients include: Droga5, Google, BASF, VMLY&R, MMGY, Doner, Campbell Ewald and Global Team Blue ( GTB ). My work has been featured in publications such as Fortune Magazine, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal / Off Duty, Financial Times, Monocle Magazine, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Imbibe Magazine and Food Network Magazine.
